Performance Comparison of CSTR and CSFBR in Anaerobic Co-Digestion of Food Waste with Grease Trap Waste

چکیده
In this study, a newly established bench-scale thermophilic continuously stirred fluidized bed reactor (CSFBR) was applied for anaerobic co-digestion of food waste (FW) with grease trap (GTW). The performance CSFBR regarding stability and treatment efficiency inspected through laboratory contrast experiment two traditional continuous tank reactors (CSTRs). the OLR range 3.19–7.41 g COD/L/d, methane production rate about as high that CSTR. Nevertheless, had much lower VFAs (<1000 mg/L) LCFA concentrations (<100 compared Unlike mesophilic CSTR, there no foaming occurred in during whole experimental period. results all suggested simultaneously provided capacity process digestion high-lipid loading.

Pilot-scale anaerobic co-digestion of municipal wastewater sludge with restaurant grease trap waste.
The maximum feasible loading rate of grease trap waste (GTW) to the municipal wastewater sludge (MWS) was investigated using two 1300 L pilot-scale (1200 L active volume) digesters under mesophilic conditions at a 20 day solids retention time. During the co-digestion, the test reactor received a mixture of GTW and MWS while the control reactor received only MWS. The test digester loading was in...

Anaerobic Co-digestion of Dairy Manure with Potato Waste
In this study, anaerobic co-digestion of dairy manure (DM) and potato waste (PW) was evaluated to determine the best mixing ratio in terms of biogas and methane (CH4) productions. Batch lab-scale anaerobic co-digestion of DM with PW was conducted at two different temperature ranges [mesophilic (MT) (35-37 oC) and thermophilic (TT) (55-57 oC)]. The tests were conducted at five DM:PW mixing ratio...
متن کاملEffects of mixture ratio on anaerobic co-digestion with fruit and vegetable waste and food waste of China.
The biochemical methane potentials for typical fruit and vegetable waste (FVW) and food waste (FW) from a northern China city were investigated, which were 0.30, 0.56 m3 CH4/kgVS (volatile solids) with biodegradabilities of 59.3% and 83.6%, respectively. Individual anaerobic digestion testes of FVW and FW we re conducted at the organic loading rate (OLR) of 3 k g VS/(m3.day) using a lab-scale c...
